This month, our Go Volunteer Glos Project Support Officer, Lucy Henderson, talks about how the singing workshops she offers as a volunteer for Parkinson’s UK are making a difference for people with Parkinson's and their families.

Lucy also reflects on what she has learned along the way, and encourages anyone interested in employer supported volunteering to 'give it a go'.

Gloucestershire County Council

Gloucestershire County Council will be recommissioning the Gloucestershire Domestic Abuse Support Service (GDASS) soon.

In preperation, the County Council is holding a market engagement session in October to talk through the process and answer questions before the tender goes live.

The Gloucestershire Volunteering Collaborative (GVC) has launched a comprehensive new ESV guide, toolkit and case studies today.

The guide is designed to help employers to understand the benefits of ESV for their companies, employees, and the local community.
