This weeks round up of job and trustee vacancies within the VCSE sector in Gloucestershire.

Below is a list of the vacancies that we advertised in this weeks VCSE Sector News Bulletin:

  • Administrator Co-ordinator, Gloucestershire VCS Alliance. Salary: £27,568 - £29,247. Hours: 20 per week. Application deadline: midday on 20 December 2024.

  • NEW: Training Officer, Gloucester, Cheltenham and Forest of Dean. Salary: £26,400 to 28,783 pro rata (dependent on experience). Hours: 21 hours (three days per week) – there is flexibility to spread this over the week. Application deadline: 3 January 2025.

  • NEW: Community Engagement and Co-production lead with Rethink Mental Illness. Hours: 35 per week. Salary: £26,457 (pro rata). Application deadline: January 2025.

  • NEW: Chief Executive Officer, Gloucestershire Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre, outskirts Gloucester, Salary £55,000 - £60,000 (pro rata), hours 0.7FTE – FT(as agreed). Application deadline: 12pm 20 January 2025.

  • NEW: Participation Manager, New Brewery Arts. Salary: £30,000 pro-rated to £18,000. Hours: three days a week. Application deadline: 26 January 2025.

  • Home-Start- HR Trustee and a Fundraising Trustee
    We are looking for two trustees to join our friendly board, one specifically with HR experience to provide advice, if needed by the staff members, as well as being able to work as a member of the board team to help make sound decisions. Trustees are jointly responsible for good governance and employment of the staff team. They are volunteers who use their skills, knowledge and experience to help the board reach sound decisions and develop the charity’s strategy. This may include scrutinising circulated papers, leading discussions focussing on key issues and providing advice and guidance on issues in which they have special expertise.
  • Allsorts - Financial Advisor to the Board of Trustees
    We are seeking a passionate, motivated candidate from a finance background to join our experienced Board of Trustees. You will use your financial knowledge and experience to undertake reviews of the Charity’s management accounts as well as providing the necessary oversight of the annual audited accounts process. You will advise other members of the financial committee and Board members to ensure the responsible management of charitable funds.
  • Gloucester Civic Trust – Trustee – Charity Law
    Gloucester Civic Trust was set up in 1972 as a charitable company limited by guarantee to protect and rescue heritage assets in the city. We are looking for people who have the relevant skills, and the commitment to make a difference. You will be joining a focused team that will contribute to the delivery of our Strategic Plan which presents both new challenges and huge opportunities. A key role for the Board, working particularly with regard to the Folk of Gloucester with the Senior Leadership Team, is to determine the priorities in these circumstances and to help guide legal management needs.
