Are you interested in becoming a trustee but not quite sure if it's right for you?

Trusteeship is a rewarding way to give back to your local community, learn new skills and develop existing ones. Please visit the Go Volunteer Glos website for information about new trustee vacancies in Gloucestershire such as:

Vision 21 – Trustees

  • We’re looking to recruit three new volunteers to join our charity’s board of trustees at a time of transition and opportunity where you can have real influence. As Vision 21 moves into its fourth decade, we are seeking people who have a passion to develop sustainable communities and to move the charity forward.

  • We are looking for individuals who want to make a difference to people’s lives, raise awareness of the dangers of climate change and become actively involved in the development and delivery of Vision 21’s initiatives, projects and events.

St Gregory’s Childcare Trust - Trustee

  • All trustees make an active contribution to the board, to support our work. Trustees have wide-ranging skills, knowledge and experience. Their role is to maintain an overview of the Charity’s affairs, our strategic planning, risk management and to provide guidance to help support viability and the proper application of resources.

  • An independent charity, St Gregory’s Childcare Trust Cheltenham is also part of Gloucestershire’s Catholic School Community.

The Door – Fundraising and Marketing Trustee

  • We’re looking for someone with special expertise and experience in fundraising who can advise the board on fundraising strategy. A background in successful charity fundraising might be helpful, but it’s more important that you have a sound understanding of the current funding landscape.

  • You will be well connected and willing to use your personal networks and influence to support the fundraising efforts of The Door.

  • You may also have experience of social enterprise development and philanthropy. The majority of The Door’s income is from voluntary sources, so it is vitally important that we can meet our fundraising targets in these challenging times to be able to continue to deliver our award-winning services.
