Course overview

At least 10% of women leave the workforce because menopause symptoms are misunderstood by employers (NHS England 2023). A further 39% consider leaving the workforce for this reason (Fawcett Society research 2023). In a sector that struggles to recruit we cannot afford to lose this pool of talent.

Please join our trainer, Dee Murray, for this course which will cover:

  • What is the Menopause and why it affects everyone
  • The impact of Menopause at work
  • Menopause symptoms
  • Legislation and policies
  • How to support staff in the workplace
  • Menopause Champions

Trainer information

 Dee Murray

Dee Murray is CEO & Founder of Menopause Experts Group (MEG). Dee, a former Advanced Psychotherapist from Gloucestershire, founded MEG in 2020 to address the glaring gap in resources for individuals experiencing perimenopause and postmenopause. With her own perimenopause journey lasting over 12 years, Dee was driven to build a community of experts and create an educational program and resources tailored for individuals and organisations.

MEG is your comprehensive support and expertise hub for navigating perimenopause to post-menopause. One of the services MEG offers is showing workplaces how to introduce 'Menopause Champions'. Menopause Champions are trained to guide colleagues and support them, in a similar way to Mental Health First Aiders. Since its inception, MEG has grown to include thousands of participants and Champions in over 20 countries.
