FRED - Forest Read Easy Deal is an award-winning local charity which aims to improve adult literacy in the Forest of Dean.

FRED - Forest Read Easy Deal provides free, flexible, confidential, one - to - one reading coaching to adults in the Forest of Dean who want to improve their reading skills.

Learners are matched with trained reading coaches who support them through a flexible reading programme. One - to - one coaching means that learners go at their own pace, usually by meeting for two thirty minute lessons each week at a place and time which is convenient to the student and the coach.
