Ahead of the General Election in a few weeks, NCVO and ACEVO have published the 'Voluntary Sector Manifesto 2024'.
NCVO describes this document as a “tool for all of us in the sector to use to set out our collective and brighter vision for the future".
The document, published on 12 June, aims to provide a bigger picture about the sector and ensure that "every corner of our sector is considered by policymakers", as well as "demonstrate to the next incoming government how we can work together in partnership to tackle some of the biggest issues facing our society”.
Recommendations outlined in the Manifesto were created based on a series of recent workshops and consultations. The NCVO website also states that it encompasses "years of careful thinking in our sector about how we can have a bigger impact".
You can find out more and download the full document on the NCVO website.
