Village Halls Week runs from 17 to 23 March and this year's theme is centred around celebrating, encouraging and supporting the efforts of volunteers who keep our rural community buildings open.
However, as we are a countywide organisation, our team would like to shine a light on activities and individuals in village halls and community buildings across Gloucestershire that week.
Please get in touch if you have a story about:
- Volunteers who dedicate their time to keeping village halls and community buildings open;
- The individuals behind the practical day to day ‘stuff’ - those that govern and do some amazing things behind the scenes in a voluntary capacity; and/or
- Volunteer-led groups & organisations that run activities out of village halls and community buildings - from scout groups to toddler groups to yoga classes!
We’ll be sharing posts on social media and in our wider communications throughout Village Halls Week and would love to share your stories too!
