Second Step would like to coordinate a consortium bid to deliver the upcoming Community Advice, Links, and Mental Health Service (CALMHS). Rethink Mental Illness are considering submitting a partnership bid for the upcoming CALMHS tender in Gloucestershire and are hosting a discussion.
Both organisations are organising events this October to discuss the following:
Second Step Event
Second Step is keen to work in a way which empowers existing VCSE sector providers in Gloucestershire, and would like to host a meeting to ‘pitch’ a potential partnership model , and hear ideas and feedback on joint work.
Although they have experience delivering countywide services in partnership with other VCSE sector organisations, they want to co-produce a model which works for people in Gloucestershire and draws upon the expertise, specialisms, and strength of the local sector.

Rethink Mental Illness Event
Rethink Mental Illness are considering submitting a partnership bid for the upcoming CALMHS tender in Gloucestershire and are hosting a discussion open to all VCSE groups & organisations with a mental health focus in the area, around what the proposal could look like and who would like to be involved.
It is crucial for them that any bid would effectively meet the needs of individuals in Gloucestershire and that it is a collaboration from a range of community-led organisations, so this session will be in part an initial exploration of this. They will present their initial thoughts of what the bid could look like/ what Rethink could bring and then open it up to discussion, sharing of local insights and how they might move this forward if appropriate.
