This weeks round up of job and trustee vacancies within the VCSE sector in Gloucestershire.

Below is a list of the vacancies that we advertised in this weeks VCSE Sector News Bulletin:

  • Chief Executive with Allsorts. Salary: £50,000 (negotiable dependent on experience). Hours: 37.5 per week. Application deadline: midday 28 February 2025.
  • Urban Development Officer (Bristol) with Gloucestershire Cricket Foundation charity. Salary: £25,000-£28,000, depending on experience. Hours: 37.5 per week. Application deadline: midnight 2 March 2025.
  • NEW: Counselling Service Supervisor with GL11 Community Hub. Salary: TBA based on experience & qualifications. Hours: 10 hours per month. Application deadline: 9am 6 March 2025.
  • Marketing and Communications Officer with Forestry England. Salary: £32,089-£32,724. Hours: 37 per week. Application deadline: 9 March 2025.
  • Support Coordinator with Emmaus Gloucestershire. Salary £25,579 (pro rata). Hours: will consider full time (40 hours) or part time (20 hours+) applicants. Application deadline: 9 March 2025.
  • NEW: Head of Incubate & Develop with GL11 Community Hub. Salary: £40,000 FTE pro rata. Hours: 30 hours per week. Application deadline: 9am 13 March 2025.
  • NEW: Head of Governance with GL11 Community Hub. Salary: £40,000 FTE pro rata. Hours:30 hours per week. Application deadline: 9am 13 March 2025.
  • NEW: Marketing and Communications Manager – Gloucestershire Cricket Foundation charity. Salary £29,000 - £34,000 (depending on experience). Hours 37.5 per week. Application deadline: midnight 16 March 2025.

Trustee– Tic+ (Teens in Crisis)

  • Are you interested in supporting children and young people’s mental health? TIC+ (Teens in Crisis) is looking for a number of dedicated individuals to join our welcoming Trustee Board.
  • As a Trustee, you’ll play a crucial role in providing oversight and strategic direction to our work both in Gloucestershire and to help us expand across the country. With an expected time-commitment of 4-12 hours per month, you’ll contribute to board meetings, subcommittee meetings, and annual strategy sessions.
  • TIC+ provides comprehensive support services to children and young people (aged 9-25), parents and professionals, including counselling (online, remote, and face-to-face),helplines, live online sessions and training programmes for counsellors at various levels, ensuring easy access to tailored support for individuals’ needs.  

Trustee– St John’s and other almshouses, Cirencester

  • We are looking for at least two new Trustees to join our committed board and help steer the charity through its next period of development.
  • St John’s Hospital is an almshouse charity which has existed for over 700 years serving residents of Cirencester. We currently have 24 properties located in the centre of the town; some are listed buildings. In addition, we own the 12th century Chantry of the Hospital of St John Evangelist (from which the charity gets its name) and two allotment sites.

Trustee– Gloucestershire Counselling Service

  • Trustee needed at the Gloucestershire Counselling Service (GCS)! Use your expertise to guide mental health services in Gloucestershire and make a meaningful impact in our community. GCS has been providing professional counselling and mental health services for over 40 years, supporting individuals, families, and schools across the county.
  • We are particularly looking for individuals with expertise in finance, marketing, and legal skills to strengthen our board. However, we also welcome candidates with a wide range of professional backgrounds and lived experiences.
