This weeks round up of job and trustee vacancies within the VCSE sector in Gloucestershire.

Below is a list of the vacancies that we advertised in this weeks VCSE Sector News Bulletin:

  • NEW: Business Manager with Emmaus Gloucestershire. Salary: Circa £42,000 depending on skills and experience. Hours: 40 hours per week. Application deadline: 24 February 2025.
  • Chief Executive with Allsorts. Salary: £50,000 (negotiable dependent on experience). Hours: 37.5 per week. Application deadline: midday 28 February 2025.
  • NEW: Urban Development Officer (Bristol) with Gloucestershire Cricket Foundation charity. Salary: £25,000-£28,000, depending on experience. Hours: 37.5 per week. Application deadline: midnight 2 March 2025.
  • Marketing and Communications Officer with Forestry England. Salary: £32,089-£32,724. Hours: 37 per week. Application deadline: 9 March 2025.
  • NEW: Support Coordinator with Emmaus Gloucestershire. Salary £25,579 (pro rata). Hours: will consider full time (40 hours) or part time (20 hours+) applicants. Application deadline: 9 March 2025.

Trustee– Feeding Gloucestershire

  • We’re looking for new trustees from any background, of any age (must be over 16), who have a passion for food equity. We are also keen to recruit a Treasurer, so if you have an interest in charity finance then we would love to hear from you.
  • Feeding Gloucestershire is a multi-agency partnership, which was convened in July 2021. The aim of Feeding Gloucestershire is to work with organisations across the county to drive systemic change and build food security across all communities in Gloucestershire.

Trustee – The Friends of Westonbirt Arboretum

  • We are looking for individuals with, ideally, experience in fundraising, finance and legal/conveyancing to complement our current range of Board expertise. Trustees attend five Board meetings per year with possible attendance at other panel meetings. Training will be provided.
  • Our work helps to support Westonbirt Arboretum, with over 15,000 trees and 600 acres of woodland. Our charitable aims are to further public enjoyment and knowledge of this world-renowned tree collection and to secure its sustainable future.

Trustee – The Churn Project

  • We are looking for a passionate and committed individual to join our Board of Trustees and contribute to our overall governance and strategic oversight.
  • We welcome applications from all ages and backgrounds, whether you are an experienced Trustee or wanting to take your first step at Board level. We would like to increase the diversity and life-experience of our Board and are particularly interested in people who offer one or more of the following: experience or skills to support our team in commissioning services; income generation; enterprise/business development; marketing/communications.
  • The Churn Project is a well-established and highly regarded community charity dedicated to reducing isolation and enhancing wellbeing for those in and around Cirencester.
