- We are currently seeking to strengthen our Board by bringing in new leadership and diverse voices to the table with our current Chair of Trustees vacancy. The Chair would need to attend four board meetings annually, usually held midweek between 11am and 1pm. There will also be regular one-to-one meetings with the Executive Director – usually for one hour every other month.
- Artlift offers creative space for adults living with mental health challenges, chronic pain and/or cancer. We run courses and creative projects for anyone registered with a doctor in Gloucestershire, where our experienced artists offer a personalised approach in a relaxed atmosphere through which participants can move forward.
- We also provide residencies and Workplace Wellbeing packages to support the mental health of staff in the corporate and statutory sectors in these challenging times.
Trustee – Corinium Education Trust
- Are you interested in education and making more good things happen for children and young people in our local area? Do you have the skills and expertise to help us take the next steps in our development?
- We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals with fresh ideas and unique perspectives to join our committed and welcoming Trust board. As a Trustee, you will be helping to drive the strategic direction and success of our Schools’ Trust through strong governance.
- The Corinium Education Trust is a growing multi-academy trust, currently made up of four schools: Cirencester Deer Park School, Chesterton Primary School, Kemble Primary School, and Siddington C of E Primary School. In 2024-25, two additional primary schools will join and we are excited to open a new primary school in September 2026, serving the families of The Steadings, a new residential development in Cirencester.
- Do you have experience of school-age education? We have a range of education offers for school-age children, designed in collaboration with the Pandemic Science Institute in Oxford. This year we have been awarded as a “2024 Place of Science” by the Royal Society to develop our education outreach programme. We are looking for a Trustee with a background in education to join our team.
- We care for Dr Jenner’s House, the Berkeley former home of pioneering country doctor Edward Jenner. It was from here that Jenner told the world about the world’s first vaccination, starting a revolution in the way we think about protecting ourselves and others.
- This is a particularly exciting time to join us as we are applying for UNESCO World Heritage status and a substantial Lottery Fund grant.
