Below is a list of the vacancies that we advertised in this weeks VCSE Sector News Bulletin:

  • Counselling Service Supervisor with GL11 Community Hub. Salary: TBA based on experience & qualifications. Hours: 10 hours per month. Application deadline: 9am 6 March 2025.
  • Marketing and Communications Officer with Forestry England. Salary: £32,089-£32,724. Hours: 37 per week. Application deadline: 9 March 2025.
  • Support Coordinator with Emmaus Gloucestershire. Salary £25,579 (pro rata). Hours: will consider full time (40 hours) or part time (20 hours+) applicants. Application deadline: 9 March 2025.
  • Head of Incubate & Develop with GL11 Community Hub. Salary: £40,000 FTE pro rata. Hours: 30 hours per week. Application deadline: 9am 13 March 2025.
  • Head of Governance with GL11 Community Hub. Salary: £40,000 FTE pro rata. Hours:30 hours per week. Application deadline: 9am 13 March 2025.
  • Marketing and Communications Manager – Gloucestershire Cricket Foundation charity. Salary £29,000 - £34,000 (depending on experience). Hours 37.5 per week. Application deadline: midnight 16 March 2025.
  • Chief Executive - Home-Start Stroud and Gloucester. Salary: £43,421 pro rata. Hours: 30 per week. Application deadline: 5pm 17 March 2025.
  • NEW: Youth Programmes Outdoor Activities Lead – Creative Sustainability. Salary: £27,300 to £29,700. Hours: 37.5 per week. Application deadline: 17 March 2025.
  • Peer Navigator Roles for Access Social Care – Gloucestershire. Salary: £17 per hour. Hours: 3 per week, 30 weeks per year. Application deadline: 17 March 2025.
  • NEW: Administration Coordinator (job share) – Cornerstone Centre. Salary: £24,400 per annum pro rata. Hours: 15-22.5 per week. Application deadline: 17 March 2025.
  • NEW: Volunteer Officer - Tewkesbury Abbey. Salary: £12,500 per annum. Hours: 20 hours per week, 20-month fixed term contract. Application deadline: 12 noon 24 March 2025.
  • NEW: Arts and Mental Health Assistant – Art for all. Salary: £15-£17 per hour. Hours: Thursdays 10am-4.30pm. Application deadline: unclear.

Trustee – PATA

  • PATA, originally Playgroup and Toddler Association, started when community playgroups first began to form. It is the largest voluntary sector provider of support to early years childcare and education in Gloucestershire.

Trustee – Feeding Gloucestershire

  • Our Vision is for Gloucestershire to be a county where everyone can enjoy good food, and nobody goes hungry.
  • We’re looking for new trustees from any background, of any age (must be over 16), who have a passion for food equity. We are also keen to recruit a Treasurer, so if you have an interest in charity finance then we would love to hear from you.
  • You will need to attend meetings - our board of trustees meets bi-monthly (meetings are usually held on Wednesdays between 1pm and 3pm in Stroud or online). Undertake mandatory training and be willing to take on additional roles and responsibilities where necessary.
  • As a trustee you will receive the opportunity to help drive systemic change to benefit individuals and communities in Gloucestershire, plus training and development, learning new skills to help you in your trustee role and beyond.
  • Feeding Gloucestershire aims to create a Network of organisations across Gloucestershire, with members that are working collectively to identify the issues causing food inequality, and develop solutions for a better, fairer food system.

Trustee Treasurer – Gloucestershire Counselling Service

  • Treasurer needed at GCS! Bring your financial skills to our board and help guide mental health services across Gloucestershire. It’s your chance to make a real community impact. We are particularly looking for individuals with expertise in finance, marketing, and legal skills to strengthen our board. However, we also welcome candidates with a wide range of professional backgrounds and lived experiences.
  • GCS is especially keen to hear from those who have direct experience with mental health challenges or who are connected to the diverse communities served by the charity.
  • GCS has been providing professional counselling and mental health services for over 40 years, supporting individuals, families, and schools across the county. We are committed to offering affordable and accessible support to all, with a focus on improving mental health and wellbeing in local communities.
