Over 1 billion people worldwide encounter barriers when trying to read and understand content online. This can be due to disabilities, learning difficulties, visual impairments or if people speak English as a second language.

Without additional accessibility and language options, people are unable to perform everyday tasks. Click on the link below to find out how the Recite Me Accessibility Toolbar can be used to help make your website accessible to all.

Back in January the Gloucestershire VCS Alliance along with Recite Me held a workshop around making your website accessible to all. We focused on the  advantages of using an accessibility toolbar and how this provides every user with the tools they need to access online information and create a unique experience.

As mentioned during the workshop, the Gloucestershire VCS Alliance has already secured a considerable discount with Recite Me but we are now pleased to announce that the Barnwood Trust are now accepting applications specifically to fully fund the cost of this toolbar.

VCS organisations can now apply via their area specific Strategic Development Managers. To find out who that is for you district click this link. https://www.barnwoodtrust.org/org_grants/

We hope this helps in your journey to become accessible to all.
