The heart of Gloucestershire’s communities are to be celebrated at the highly anticipated Gloucestershire's Volunteer Awards, held at the Growth Hub in Gloucester on Thursday 6 June.
Organised by Go Volunteer Glos, in collaboration with Charlie’s Cancer Support and the Gloucestershire VCS Alliance, the event will honour the outstanding contributions of volunteers who dedicate their time and energy to make a positive impact across the county.
"The unwavering dedication and care of volunteers are the backbone of communities across Gloucestershire," said Emma Snell, Manager of Go Volunteer Glos. "Their acts of kindness and service touch countless lives and create a ripple effect throughout our communities."
The awards ceremony recognises the exceptional efforts of individuals and groups across various categories, such as Community Involvement Award and Rising Star Award, highlighting their commitment to enhancing the quality of life in their communities.
The awards ceremony, held during Volunteer’s Week, brings together volunteers, community leaders, and supporters for an evening of inspiration, entertainment, and heartfelt tributes.
