Today marks the beginning of Trustees' Week and we're encouraging VCSE sector groups & organisations across the county to join us to celebrate the difference trustees make within Gloucestershire. We have a range of free events running throughout the week and will be sharing links to online resources, stories from the sector and more on our social media accounts.
If you can't attend one of our events, here's some ideas about how you can get involved online:
- Thank your trustees on social media
- Share a case study or story about one (or all) of your trustees on your website and social media
- Post your trustee bio's on social media to introduce them to your followers
- Promote your trustee vacancies on Go Volunteer Glos, your website and social media
- Use the #TrusteesWeek hashtag on social media to extend the reach of your posts

Tuesday 7 November: Free Online Charities Act (2022) Webinar - join us for an update about the implications of the new legislation for your organisation and to celebrate Trustees’ Week 2023. This webinar is fully funded for VCSE sector groups & organisations in Gloucestershire and is delivered in partnership with Getting OnBoard. Wednesday 8 November: Free Online Sector Spotlight Debate - join us for the first debate of our brand new 'Sector Spotlight' series: 'Better Together or Surviving Apart?'. Our Chief Officer, Matt Lennard, and colleagues from the local VCSE sector will debate whether true partnership working and collaboration can work during a friendly but frank conversation. Panel members include: Tracy Clark (Young Gloucestershire), Indigo Redfern MBE (GL11 Community Hub), Chris Brown (FVAF), Elaine Pearson Scott (Gloucestershire Nightstop) and Florence Nyasamo-Thomas (Lives of Colour).
