David Owen, Director of Economy and Environment for Gloucestershire County Council and CEO of GFirst LEP is encouraging colleagues from across the VCSE sector in the county to share their views on the development of a new Economic Strategy for Gloucestershire.
David's letter to the sector is below:
"Dear all,
I hope all is well and you are enjoying the summer – despite the weather!
I am writing to you today with both my GFirst LEP and Gloucestershire County Council hats on to raise awareness of the public engagement process for the new economic strategy that was launched earlier this week.
Please can I encourage you and your colleagues to share their views on the public engagement document produced for this stage of the strategy development process by taking part in the engagement survey which can be accessed here: Have Your Say
In addition, I would like to invite you to attend a workshop to discuss the emerging strategy in detail. The session will be managed by our lead consultant from Shared Intelligence Lisa McCance.
We have a dedicated with Voluntary Community and Social Enterprise sector workshop on:
- Thursday 28 September between 14:00 and 16:30 at Kingsholm Stadium, Gloucester
