I'm Angela Gilbert, Community Development Team Manager for GRCC and VCS Representative (Rep) for Cheltenham on the county's Integrated Locality Partnership (ILP). Do you believe that the VCSE sector has a part to play in shaping, supporting and delivering local services that help improve wellbeing? If you do, then please consider applying for our current vacancy as joint Rep for Cheltenham on the ILP.
Our Reps are responsible for developing the relationship between public sector organisations and the VCSE sector. We support effective communication and improve the way both sectors work together at a local level. You will make a difference to local communities in Cheltenham by sharing information about the work of the ILP, highlighting the opportunities it presents and of course, gathering and representing the views of the VCSE sector in Cheltenham.
Your organisation will be reimbursed for your time, and you will be expected to feedback to the VCSE sector through the Cheltenham VCS Forum which meets bi-monthly.
