What is Go Volunteer Glos?
Go Volunteer Glos is a website that enables VCSE sector groups & organisations to upload their volunteer and trustee vacancies, for free, to promote and showcase them to individuals seeking volunteering opportunities within the county.
Tools & support designed to meet the needs of your group/organisation
Once signed up, your group/organisation can:
- Create bespoke volunteering applications
- Register multiple administrators from your group/organisation
- Embed your opportunities on the site into your own website
- Participate in webinars and other specialist events hosted by Go Volunteer Glos
- Recieve personalised support from Go Volunteer Glos' manager, Emma
- Access back-office tools to support you managing and communicating with your volunteers
- Coming soon - groups/organisations will shortly be able to access their own analytics to measure impact and gain valuable insight
You'll also benefit from the wider coverage that Go Volunteer Glos has, to help you promote your volunteering vacancies to a wide audience. This is especially useful for groups or organisations that do not have the capacity to market their opportunities, but is also beneficial to any groups & organisations that are signed up.

Go Volunteer Glos aims to make Gloucestershire the best county in the country which to volunteer. It was founded by the Gloucestershire Volunteering Collaborative in 2022 - a group of representatives from the local VCSE sector, health, local government, employers and employees, police, and fire services - along with volunteers themselves. Together, they strategically work together to improve the way that volunteering works for the county.
